Chelsea Van Dyck, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years working in the mental health field, established Coastline Counseling after the pandemic markedly increased anxious and depressive symptoms amongst many.

Chelsea’s professional experience as a clinician spans from hospitals to homeless shelters to various nonprofits over the years. Chelsea received her Masters in Social Work degree with a clinical mental health specialization from Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Northeastern University. In addition to the varied professional positions and mental health degrees, Chelsea has completed additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Beck Institute), Cognitive Processing Therapy (PESI), and Grief Counseling and Treatment Certification (PESI).
